Before You Apply
To ensure a smooth application process, please verify that your Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) meets these minimum requirements:
Legal Entity
The CAB must be a registered legal entity in Nepal or its home economy, capable of being held legally responsible.
System Implementation
Your management system (ISO/IEC 17021, 17065, or 17025) must be implemented for at least 6 months.
Internal Audit & Review
One full cycle of internal audits and a management review must be completed prior to application.
The Accreditation Process
Application
Submit application forms, quality manual, and fees.
Doc Review
NAF reviews your documentation for adequacy against standards.
Assessment
On-site or remote assessment of your office and witnessing of activities.
Decision
Independent review of findings and granting of accreditation.
Surveillance
Annual assessments to ensure continued compliance.
