Workplace Policy: The “Quality First” Hybrid Model
At the Nepal Accreditation Foundation (NAF), we believe that Quality is not a place you go, but a standard you uphold. Our workplace policy is designed to support the rigorous demands of accreditation assessments while providing the flexibility required by modern professionals.
“We measure output, not hours. Whether you are drafting an assessment report from a café in Pokhara or auditing a lab in Kathmandu, your contribution to Nepal’s Quality Infrastructure is what matters.”

1. The Hybrid Framework
In accordance with NAF-MGT-HR-01 (Human Resources Management Policy), we operate on a 60/40 Hybrid split:
- Remote (60%): Technical reviews, documentation analysis, peer evaluations (NAF-PEP-06), and committee meetings are conducted digitally to maximize efficiency and work-life balance.
- On-Site (40%): Physical presence is mandatory only for specific activities:
- Witnessing conformity assessment activities (ISO 17011 requirement).
- Physical facility inspections (NAF-MGT-FAC-01).
- Strategic stakeholder meetings.
2. Assessor Mobility & Support
Our “Assessor-First” approach ensures that travel for accreditation duties is fully supported. We provide digital infrastructure (secure cloud access for NAF-FORM-GEN-03 Assessment Reports) to ensure you can work securely from any location.
